Took part in the Land's End Trial last weekend. It was the first time I'd driven - and it felt rather like being dropped in at the deep end. The car got up most of the hills - but we struggled on the stop/starts - and got winched off two hills too. I think we may have scored the lowest number of points in the events 100 year+ history! Still, at least we got the car back in one piece - which is more than can be said for our chums in the TVR :) Huge thanks to Duncan for letting me have a go - and especially the scores of marshals and volunteers who stood out in all weathers, dragging cars out of ditches and making tea and buns - all while being exceedingly jolly.
